Made to order in charcoal thread. I work through photos in the order they reach me. Once I've looked at yours and confirmed it will stitch cleanly, your place is set — before that, I can't hold a slot.

From Their Heart started with a few words I couldn't bear to lose — my grandmother's beautiful cursive, and my niece's first written "I love you" to her mom and dad. I began preserving handwriting like theirs onto canvas so it would last: a signature, a few lines, the small things we say and love to see every day. It's an honor to turn your loved one's handwriting into a piece of art you can keep forever.

- How do I send my handwriting?
- After you order, send a clear photo of the handwriting either by uploading it through this site or by DMing it to me on Instagram @from.their.heart.
- How long does it take?
- About three weeks from the day I receive your photo, plus shipping. Need it by a specific date? Message me before ordering.
- Is shipping included?
- Yes. The $87 price includes free shipping anywhere in the United States.
- What should I expect from a handmade piece?
- Thread has a texture that ink doesn't, so the finished piece carries the shape and rhythm of the writing rather than reproducing it exactly. That difference is the point — it's why it reads as an object someone made and not a printout.
- What if something isn't right?
- Each piece is stitched for one person and can't be resold, so I don't take returns. If your photo won't stitch cleanly I'll tell you before I begin rather than guess. If something arrives wrong because of a mistake on my end, write to me and I'll remake it.
- Where do you ship?
- Anywhere in the United States, shipped from Washington.
- What makes a good note?
- One thing, said well. A single line, a name signed at the bottom of a card, a child's spelling you'd never want corrected. Photograph it lying flat in daylight, with your camera held level above it.
- Should I mail you the note itself?
- Please don't. The original stays with you — a photo is all I work from.

All sales final: Each keepsake is stitched for one person and can't be made again for anyone else, so orders can't be returned or exchanged. If I look at your photo and don't think it will hold up in thread, I'll tell you before I start rather than guess. And if a piece arrives wrong because of something I did, write to me and I'll remake it.
